SIKH DEVOTEE VISIT PAKISTAN FOR OBSERVE GURUNANAK JAYANTI

Gurudwaras of Delhi vis. Sis Ganj Sahib at Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi,
Rakab Ganj Sahib near Parliament Street in Central Delhi, Bangla Sahib in New Delhi
have been decorated along with small Gurudwaras with colorful lights and colorful cloths
(Chadar) in honor to mark the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and celebrated with Kirtan,
Paath, street processions, dance, and Langar (Prasad). Devotees
cover their heads during the entire time in the Gurudwara.

Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib at Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi linked to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji comes alive on
Gurpurab with Langar – free food, etc.
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib at Connaught Place (Central Delhi) linked with Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji,
offers healing medical seva with free Langar and Gurpurab.
Rakab Ganj Sahib associated with the cremation of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji has a peaceful ambience amid
Central Delhi. Along with small Gurudwaras in Delhi, all are observing the birthday of
Guru Nanak Ji. Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurpurab, is one of the significant festivals in
Sikhism which promotes his teachings of honesty, equality, and selfless service.

Non-stop reading of the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of Sikhs,
which is called Akhand Paath, is observed.
Langar, that is free food as Prasad, is distributed among devotees Freely distributed in these three guruduwara sĀ  daily. Thousands of SikhĀ  piligramsĀ Ā  from India visitĀ  Pakistan basedĀ  guruduwara for observe gurunanakĀ  jayanti this year also from Rakab ganj guruduwaraĀ inĀ NewĀ Delhi.
