Ruling Maharashtra Alliance Ready to Fight Together in Zilla Parishad and BMC Elections, but to Decide Whether Grassroots BJP Will Get Importance or Not?

According to sources, the ruling Mahayuti alliance will fight together in the forthcoming Zilla Parishad and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. It was decided during a closed-door meeting held by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and other senior BJP state leaders.

According to sources, district-level leaders have been directed to prepare the Mahayuti structure at the grassroots level in the meeting. It was decided that if minor or serious issues arise during the preparation of the Mahayuti structure, then Maharashtra CM Fadnavis and Deputy CM Eknath Shinde will tackle the issues—whether at the top level, grassroots level, or from other levels—regarding who will get the party alliance tickets.
