DRDA or PNRD development in Assam A bird view report on MGNREGA

Richa Sharma (35 years), Assam : BJP government"s more funds utilization during last financial year under Mahatma Gandhi national Rural Employment Guarantee Act, total allocated funds were about Rs.731.11crore for Assam , BJP govt. has utilized about Rs. 700.80crore . In View of BJP'S commitment in rural housing "Housing for all by 2022 ", the many panchayats in Assam have started to construct PMGY houses and already have also completed many PMGY houses at Rs. 1lac 30 thousand under MGNREGA ,it is seen while visited in Bilasipara , Golokgang , gauripur constituencies of Dhubri dist. and and newly declared Mankasar dist.and Manikpur block which is a Part of BTAD and Bangaigaon DRDA. and Algapur constituency of Hailakandi district .Many PMGY houses , roads, toilets ,etc. have been provided to VPL people , waiting shed , water ponds were constructed, previous congress government during 2011-12 and ,2013-14 has also achieved excellent performance under MGNREGA utilizing the fund about Rs.2,100crore. According to State Assembly report, the highest amount was spent in financial year with Rs.748.27 crore. During these past years, excellent performance was observed under MGNREGA schemes in Marigaon ,Nogao, Dharmapur and Mukalmua of Nalbari dist. Sonitpur , Baska. Kokrajar Odalguri, sibsagar, Rural Kamrup, Manikpur's parts of BTAD and Bangaigao dist. Sadia ,Dhubri, Jaleshwaretc while visiting the places , viz , age group wise number of employed persons ana age groups wise numbers of works under MGNREGA in 2016-17, National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP)in 2016-17 , fincial performance under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (PMGY) during 2016-17, numbers of toilets approved for VPL people, During congress government , flood control schemes have been taken to resist water in much flood affected areas like Mayang, Laharighat etc.
